RangerACE construction camp returns July 2022

RangerACE construction camp will be returning for year four, this time at Bluebonnet Elementary School in Round Rock Texas. Campers will design, estimate, bid, and construct a state-of-the-art basketball court for the community at the elementary school, all with the help of industry professionals.

RangerACE summer camp is always no-cost, except for a $50 application fee to be refunded upon camp completion.

Session 1: July 11 - 15, Session 2: July 18 - 22. Both sessions are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Central Texans ages 13-17 are eligible to apply.

An Introduction to Construction

According to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, over 200,000 construction jobs go unfilled every year in the United States. While this may seem surprising given construction’s low barrier to entry and diverse career paths, not many youths understand how rewarding and lucrative a career in construction can be.

This was the inspiration behind RangerACE Construction Camp — a one-week day camp designed to introduce high schoolers in the Austin area to an exciting and rewarding career in construction. Over the course of 5 days, each camper will be given the opportunity to explore construction-related careers with professionals, while helping to build a personal foundation for excellence. 

Each summer we offer two one-week sessions at NO CHARGE for qualifying applicants (there is a refundable $50 application fee). Each session will feature 20 campers. Given the limited number of spaces available, it's important to apply soon so don't wait!

Our team takes pride in offering campers a comprehensive introduction to the vast field of construction. We accomplish this through bringing in construction professionals daily that work with the campers, as well as teaching a complementary STEM curriculum that gives campers insight into what work some jobs may entail.

Through the assistance of our RangerACE Pros and our sponsors, campers are able to get a comprehensive look at every facet of work that goes into a construction project from start to finish.
